On radio show, Tuberville says ‘I’m not looking to go anywhere (AP/ESPNU)

Amid reports that he was on the verge of signing a deal to coach the Arkansas Razorbacks, Auburn coach Tommy Tuberville took to the radio waves of his weekly show to tell the audience that he wasn’t “looking to go anywhere.”

According to Auburn’s sports publicist Kirk Sampson, Arkansas has not contacted Auburn seeking permission to speak with Tuberville about the Razorback job.

We love coach-speak when rumors come up on whether or not they’re going to take another job.

Popcorn's ready: Terrell Owens celebrates a touchdown in style.Passing: Romo (DAL) 309 yds
Rushing: Grant (GNB) 94 yds
Receiving: Owens (DAL) 156 yds

The game was hyped as soon as your Thanksgiving turkey came out of the oven: two 10-1 teams (Green Bay and Dallas) would face off in a late week prime-time match-up that most of America didn’t see on the NFL Network that pitted one of the game’s legends (Brett Favre) against one of the game’s up-and-comers who idolized said legend (Tony Romo).

In his place, we saw Brett Favre suffer injuries to both arms (injured right elbow that caused numbness and a separated left shoulder) that knocked him out of the game but his role under center was ably filled by understudy Aaron Rodgers, who threw for 201 yards and one touchdown.

And then there was Tony Romo.
